CAMP ROCK
Everyone wants to be famous. Everyone wants to be rich. Everyone wants to come to Camp Rock. If you really want to live in the lime light, with a guitar then you come here. All musical talents are welcome, no matter what your look, or style, you can be a part of the Camp Rock family. Camp Rock will push you to your breaking point, with training your voice, your feet, your skill, all of it. The classes are hard, and the down time is precious. Don't think it's all work. Camp Rock has many other activities. Camp fires, open mic nights, and many opportunities to show your musical skill during the summer.

That was that brochure for Camp Rock says now. But what about 3 years ago? What was it like then? The Truth about the beautiful Camp Rock is that it once was Camp Rock. It wasn't meant for the dance, and pop scene. It was made for some of the last true music obsessed teens left. It was a place to learn how to match your voice to Mick Jagger's, tune your Guitar like Jimi, hold a Crowd like Axl Rose, and write like Freddie Mercury. It brought in the rejects of out school, and freaks to the social world. The ones with drug problems, and screwed up parents who needed an escape. They all came for the music. But that changed when dance was brought into the mix.
__
You see, the new Dance lessons brought in a new crowd. The ones who think that all music needs lights and flashing stages. The ones who come from rich families and famous parents. One problem, since they had more money that camp charged more to go, a lot more. The anti-dance bunch lost many of their good and old time friend who couldn't afford the camp anymore. And so begins the separation. Rockers, and Poppers. Black and White. Johnny Depp, and Tom Cruise. The Poppers felt the Rockers were strange and scary. Avoided them at all cost. The Rockers couldn't help but pick fights and scare the Poppers, who ruined there camp.
Both have good reasons to hate the other, but neither will leave the camp. The groups are forced to live with each other, eat with each other, and learn together. Fights break out often, lines are crossed, and music is put in the back of their minds. There are however a few who chose the pick a group but ignore the fights, not that they don't get dragged in.
So pick a side, and stick to it. After about the music anyways. Right?
