description • cait is shorter than your average seventeen year old, but she's never let that stand in her way. at seven stone, she's very nearly anorexic, but right now, she's just very underweight. she's very pale, despite the amount of time she spends out in the sun. her hair is long, and black, and frequently changes colour, depending on caitlin's mood. her eyes are blue, or green, or whatever colour she wants them to be - it all depends on what colour contacts cait feels like wearing.
as far as looks go, cait is the complete opposite to her sister. her face is heart-shaped, and never tans. she has no freckles what-so-ever, and she finds this mildly annoying. her dress sense is what most people would call quirky, but what cait would call 'the first thing that came to hand'.

overall personality • fun ; caitlin loves to have fun. she can't stand the sight of anyone looking upset and always has to do everything in her power to cheer them up. if she's bored, she'll usually get up and start acting like the crazy teen that she secretly is, and she's try and convince others to get up and act mad at that same time.
weird ; caitlin is a very strange child, in her mind at least. she always laughs at the most inappropriate times and can't keep a straight face when being challenged to a staring competion. she always thinks the most random things, and usually feels the need to say them out loud. she once burst out with 'monkey banana hammock' when she was with dominic - needless to say he avoided her for a week afterwards.
fiery ; cait can't stand to see anyone being hurt, or upset. she always has to butt in, has to give her two cents. if she doesn't agree with something, then you'll find out, because is will start shouting at you and the whole thing will turn into a heated debate. she feels very strongly about controversial things like abortion - she disagrees with it ; it's not getting rid of a bunch of cells to her, it's killing a person who had a chance at life - and people not working.

history • caitlin was born on the seventeenth of february, nineteen-eighty-nine, along with her twin sister, sophia. cait and sophia’s parents were michael and janine carey, a relatively wealthy couple from the north of england. janine was only eighteen when she had the twins, and michael was twenty two. almost immediately, the couple encountered problems shortly after having the girls. janine was becoming more and more withdrawn and quiet, and michael was throwing himself into his work much harder than he had before. michael was the headmaster of a boys private school, and all the extra work he was putting in was so that he could get some extra cash. despite all their problems, michael still loved janine - you had to love her, seeing as she was the mother of his children and was so damned lovable - and was trying to work up the courage to ask her to marry him.
when the girls were five years old, michael asked janine to marry him, and she accepted. on the girls sixth birthday, their parents were married. by this time, sophia and caitlin were virtually inseparable, though you could clearly tell who was who. caitlin was much thinner than sophia was, despite the fact that she ate and ate and ate. janine, being a mother, thought that there was something wrong with her, and so took her to the doctors. the doctors diagnosed an abnormally high metabolism rate, and that it wasn’t dangerous to her at all. he also gave the girls their inoculations, which they weren’t too happy about.
when the girls were eight, janine found herself pregnant again. a scan at twenty weeks showed another set of twins, but janine lost one of them at twenty two weeks. a twin herself, janine wasn’t surprised when she heard that she was having another set of twins, but when she lost half of them, she broke down. she’d contracted post natal depression after having caitlin and sophia, and hadn’t got rid of it like most women do. janine had a dubious past that not even michael knew - all he knew that he wasn’t allowed to mention her father’s name when she was in the room or anywhere near the room.
shortly after having jennie, the twin that survived, janine died. the doctors were baffled as to what had caused it, until an autopsy showed that she’d had a massive blood clot in the brain which had short circuited it.
sophia and caitlin were so upset. they couldn’t understand that they’d never see their mother again, and that the baby had to stay with them. as they grew older, they started taking jennie under their wing, protecting her when their father came in drunk most nights and started shouting at her, accusing her of killing his wife, the love of his life. as a result, jennie had always hated her father. after their mother had died, michael had started drinking heavily, trying to drown the pain, trying to forget. sometimes, when he was tipsy, he was nice to jennie, though, more often than not, he was absolutely vile to her.
he came in roaring drunk one day when the twins were fifteen and jennie was seven, and started shouting abuse at her. jennie immediately started to cry and looked at sophia, who looked as scared as caitlin felt. michael raised his hand and looked as if he were about to slap his youngest daughter, and that’s when sophia and caitlin made their move. sophia ran forwards and grabbed jennie out of harm’s way, and caitlin took jennie’s face. she had a bruise on her face for weeks afterwards, causing her school to take interest in her family life. caitlin’s family was assigned a social worker, but after her father missed the first couple of meetings due to the fact that he was passed out, the girls were taken into care.
the social workers thought that the twins were too dependant on each other, and jennie looked up to the girls as if they were her own mother. they tried to split the three up, but after a massive outburst from caitlin, shortly followed by sophia, they scrapped that idea and placed them into a care home, waiting for someone to foster them. had they had any grandparents - or grandparents that actually liked them, they would have gone to stay with them. but they had none, so they were bounced around from foster home to foster home until they found the mosse family.
daniel and allie mosse were the family that sophia, caitlin and jennie had dreamed of ; they had a big house, their idea of punishment was to deny their children any pudding after tea . . . they had finally found the family they wanted to be with, and daniel and allie certainly thought so too. after just a month of fostering them, they signed the adoption papers and sophia, caitlin and jennie became a part of the family.
seeing as they had been bounced around from home to home all their life, caitlin and sophia had never been at a school for more than three months. as soon as they were enrolled in eden hill, they looked back on all the schools they’d been to with disdain. the mosse’s were much more well off than their father had been - who’d recently died from liver cancer - and so their education was a lot more expensive than it used to be. the three sisters were enrolled into a girls only private school, and, after some persuasion on jennie’s part, jennie was sent to boarding school. shortly before the girls had been taken out of their old house, jennie had raided her mother’s room, and found books like malory towers and stole harry potter’s from her sisters. she’d wanted to go to boarding school for as long as she could remember, and she would do anything to go. daniel didn’t think it was such a good idea at first, as did caitlin and sophia, but in the end he agreed, and every september, he drives jennie down to cornwall so she can go to school.
caitlin aced her gcse’s, grabbing seven a*’s and three a’s. her sister didn’t do quite as well as she did, but that’s because sophia went out every night with her friends. caitlin preferred to stay indoors with her parents and two cats, eating ice cream as she revised. knowing that her school didn’t have a sixth form, caitlin spoke to her dad about where she should apply, and he suggested elfed arts. elfed arts was notoriously hard to get into, and focussed mainly on the arts, like dance, music and art. caitlin loved all three of these things, but she wasn’t sure she would fit in at elfed, plus, the yearly fee was even more than what her parents were paying for jennie. her father urged her to apply, as did her mother when she asked her. grimly, caitlin filled out an application form and waited for the reply.
a few weeks later, caitlin was asked to come for an interview, and shortly after, a letter arrived to say she’d secured her place. term started on the third of september, and caitlin received her new uniform. if she thought the eden hill uniform had been fancy, it was nothing compared to what she had now. a blazer, grey skirt, shoes of her choice as long as they were smart . . . even a straw hat for the summer. sophia wasn’t all that bothered about caitlin going to a different school than her, but even their parents knew something was wrong. they offered to try and get sophia into the same school as caitlin, but soph declined, saying she was going to go to crescent hill, a school very close to their high school.
just as soon as cait started to get settled in at elfed arts, things started to go wrong. she became more and more aware of the people staring at her, though she had no idea why until she was told how pretty she was. she didn't believe it at first; she'd never though of herself as particularly pretty before, but after having some of the hottest guys in the sixth form ask her out, cait let herself believe it, and soon started sleeping around. she started charging for sex, and soon started sleeping with everything on legs, needing the rush that it gave her.
after six months of this, her parents finally snapped. they pulled her out of sixth form and sent her here, to franklin high, never mind that the yearly feels were almost double than what they were already paying for elfed. cait was quickly accepted into the lusts, but she misses her sisters more than anything else in the world.

rp sample •Bella stood staring at the vending machine, painfully aware that the boy was staring at her. She couldn’t decide what to do, in every sense of the word. She didn’t know what to buy, she didn’t know what to do that make the boy stop staring at her, and she couldn’t figure out what she’d say if the boy came up to her. Biting her lip, Bella was in the process of removing her dollar from her back pocket when the boy walked up to her. Why was he walking up to her? Bella made a point of not talking to people who stared at her or who made her feel uncomfortable, so why did he think she was going to talk to him now? Still gripping her dollar in her fingers, Bella watched the boy approach her from the corner of her eye, feeling odd and rooted to the spot and useless and every other word that made her feel the way she did at that moment.
"Hey. Sorry about staring at you - I dunno what came over me. I'm sure I recognise you - aren't you in my Religious Studies class?"
Bella stared at him, utterly confused and unable to form a reply. She opened her mouth, then closed it, settling on just staring at him as she tried to figure the boy out. He stares at her like she’s a mad woman with a grudge against him, then he apologises and asks if he’s seen her before? It was completely confusing, and Bella had no idea how to react. She could feel the heat emanating off of him, and it made her feel awkward. She now realised how much like a Vampire she looked, which was probably why the boy was staring, and how obvious it was that the boy was a werewolf.
Bella felt awkward, and almost flinched away when the boy leant across her to buy some more raisins, to which she was allergic. She held her ground, however, not even moving when the boy came closer to her than she felt comfortable with. She didn’t particularly like being around people she didn’t know, especially if those people had already made their judgements from the way she looked.
"Want some? Anyways, I'm Harry, what's your name?"
Harry? Harry who? Bella continued to stare at him, still completely confused and still having no idea what to do. It was as if he’d done it on purpose ; made her unable to reply so she looked like the bad guy. She highly doubted that, though. She was about to shake her head to the raisins, and about to explain that she was allergic, when Harry changed tack and said something else.
"Well, you don't seem to be enjoying my company, but, if you decide you wanna talk or something, I'll be in the Dining Room."
Bella was about to protest when Harry walked away, leaving her even more confused and feeling like she’d just been a total bitch to someone she didn’t know. Bella got confused easily ; things had to be explained to her. Shaking her head, her black hair hit her in the face, and Bella sighed, turning her attention back to the vending machine. She fed the dollar into the machine, finally having decided on a bottle of water. The best way to not be confused about her impromptu meeting with Harry was to try and forget all about it, Bella thought, unscrewing the top of her bottle and taking a sip, before she saw Harry coming back towards her.
"Bella. That's your name, isn't it? Bella Swan. From my Religious Studies class. Look, I don't know who, what you are, but you've done something to me. I don't know what that is, either, but you aren't normal. Tell me what the fuck you've done to me, please!"
What? What the hell was he going on about? Bella hadn’t done anything ; she couldn’t have. She was a human and therefore had no special powers or magic or anything out of the ordinary. She was as normal as a person could get, if not even more normal than your average person. Hanging around with witches, wizards and vampires every day tended to make you just a little bit more normal than the rest of the human population.
So why did this boy think she’d done something? All she’d done was buy a bottle of water . . . what-
"No, I won't let you. You're not gonna make me go crazy, you're NOT!"
I don’t bloody need to make you crazy, Bella thought waspishly. You’re mad enough as it is.
Bella was about to protest, yet again, but Harry ran out of the canteen before she could even open her mouth. She felt like screaming ‘What the fuck?’ at the nearest person, but she reigned the urge in, choosing instead to find a place to sit. She didn’t have much choice. During her confusing meeting with Harry, the canteen seemed to have filled up, leaving her with the table Harry had been sitting at. Sitting on the seat closest to her, Bella dumped her bag onto the floor, sipping at her water and staring around the room as if she had nothing better to do, which she didn’t. Looking down as the table as she dropped the lid, Bella spotted Harry’s work, which now seemed to be covered in her name. Why, exactly? This was getting all too horror movie for Bella ; Harry’d jump through the window wielding a chainsaw in a minute, she could tell. Shaking her head, Bella picked up her lid and rubbed at the table ; Harry had seemed to write her name on the table too. What was it with this . . . this . . . boy? She’d never spoken to him before in her life, and yet he already knew her name and was acting like he was obsessed with her completely.
Now very spooked, Bella twisted the cap back onto her water bottle and stood up, grabbing her bag and running out of the canteen, needing to find someone normal, like a vampire, or someone. She never thought she’d ever describe a vampire as ‘normal’, but right now, she didn’t really care. Walking out of the canteen, Bella froze as she saw the werewolf leaving the square in front of it. Checking over her shoulder, Bella bit her lip before jogging after him, wondering why the hell she was involving herself with him and why he seemed to be so spooked by her presence.
She followed him to the courtyard, which, in itself was odd, because Bella had never followed someone anywhere before, especially someone who found her so weird that they accused her of doing something to them. She watched as Harry flung himself up into a tree, frowning with confusion. She looked around the courtyard, wondering why some of the people around weren’t as confused as she was. Bella watched as the boy stood up and then - what was he doing? - jumped out of the top of the tree. Bella started to run towards the tree, not knowing what the hell she was doing.
“Hey!” she shouted, skidding to a stop.
