effy lianne mosse } { let me be your stupid little fuck up effy pulled a face, scrutinising her reflection in the water. of all the things in the world she had to develop, it would have to be bdd, wouldn't it? she'd kill to make herself feel that she looked normal again, so that she wouldn't want to flinch every time she looked in the mirror. it didn't matter that people constantly told her she was pretty ; she herself couldn't see it.
sighing in annoyance, effy threw the stone she was holding into the water, disturbing the calm of the fountain. why even bother having a fountain if it didn't work? effy tried to keep her thoughts away from her reflection and attempted to concentrate on something else, but that didn't really work. she found herself scrutinising her face even in her head. turning away from the water, effy groaned. what did he want now?
she and rodger had been arguing for months over something stupid and petty. she wasn't even sure she could remember what it was . . .
"what? what do you want now? come to needle the oh-so-innocent effy mosse again, have you? just because i'm three years younger than you, you seem to think you can do anything to me," effy ranted, standing up and trying to appear taller than she actually was. she was about to carry on with her rant when she was interrupted. she glared at rodger. she absolutely hated him.

rodger was awake, he had been all night, all the last night, too. and fourty-eight hours without sleep could seriously mess with your brain. rodger included in this. honestly, though, he couldn't care less. he's been awake much longer than fourty-eight hours before, so he wasn't as cranky as normal people would be, but still, he was pretty bad.
he pulled himself out of bed and glanced at the bedside clock, it was around nine, therefore answering the missing jimmy. rodger knew jimmy's habits and rodger guessed he's be outside, smoking a cigarette right now. sighing to himself, rodger pulled on a random t-shirt and jeans, making sure he had the key for the dorm door and headed out. not bothering to check what he looked like in the mirror, not that he cared, anyway.
deciding to skip breakfast as he wasn't hungry, rodger walked down the steps to the fountain and noticed a familiar figure standing next to it; effy. really, he couldn't be bothered with her today, but knowing he couldn't go back inside as she'd spotted him, rodger walked closer to her.
he wasn't taken aback by her tone, but he didn't like it either. "effy, i was just walking around. i never meant to annoy you or anything." rodger's voice was calm, yet angered. "can't i do that? huh? or should i bugger off to my 'hovel' and die? oh, no. you'd like that wouldn't you?" he sighed, really he hadn't came out here for an argument with effy, he liked her...a lot and he wanted to make it up to her and try and make her forgive him. "look," rodger said and moved closer to effy. "i'm sorry okay? i didn't mean to upset you..." he looked at the floor, waiting for effy's answer. he guessed it wouldn't be a good one.
